Tiffany Cox, DVM


Dr. Tiffany Cox comes from a rich history of horse racing and showing coupled with the veterinary profession. Dr. Cox’s father Dr. Toby Tobias, was a equine practitioner in the DFW area for many years. Dr. Cox completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Tarleton State University. Her love of horse racing resulted in a 13 year career as a Quarter Horse racehorse trainer, highlighted by winning the inaugural running of the B.F. Phillips, Jr. Stakes during the first live Quarter Horse race meet at Lone Star Park. After her successful career as a racehorse trainer, she decided to return to academia by attending Ross University where she completed her DVM degree. Following graduation, Dr. Cox completed an internship at Texas Equine Hospital. Dr. Cox then worked in mixed animal practice and small animal urgent care for four years before joining Trinity. Dr. Cox loves preventive care medicine and general practice. She especially enjoys working with her clients to help educate them and keep their pets healthy and happy!


Sarah Priebe, DVM


Dr. Sarah Priebe graduated from Texas A&M University with dual undergraduate degrees in biomedical science and veterinary science as well as her DVM degree. After graduation, she relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth area where she has pursued her passions of internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. With two decades of experience and a special interest in cardiology, oncology and endocrinology, Dr. Priebe has utilized her ultrasound skills to further refine treatment plans for these special needs patients.


Tonya Stephens, DVM, MS, PhD


Dr. Tonya Stephens attended Texas A&M University completing an undergraduate degree in animal science and Masters of Science in exercise physiology. During her time at TAMU, she also completed an externship at the British Horseracing Board (British equivalent to the American Jockey Club). She then traveled to University of Florida where she completed her PhD and lectured in nutrition and exercise physiology. A passion for research led her to pursue a DVM. While in veterinary school, she was introduced to and instructed by Dr. Huisheng “Shen” Xie in traditional Chinese Medicine. Based on the research conducted at U of F and outcomes from cases treated in this manner, she completed practical and coursework to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist. Upon returning to Texas, she completed her studies in alternative therapies with Parker University becoming American Veterinary Chiropractic Association certified. She is available for both small and large animal appointments and surgery as well as equine acupuncture and chiropractic work on a limited basis.​


Amanda Lawson, DVM

Dr. Lawson grew up in a small town in East Tennessee where she was active in FFA and 4H. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal science at the University of Tennessee. After she received her bachelors degree, she attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical year of veterinary school was at the University of Tennessee where she graduated in 2013. She then moved to Texas to intern at Texas Equine hospital, where she then stayed for 6 more years focusing on equine field services. Dr. Lawson also completed her veterinary chiropractic certification from Options for Animals in 2018. She joined our practice in May of 2019. Dr. Lawson loves general practice, ambulatory medicine and reproductive medicine. Let her know how she can serve you and your horse!

Our dedicated support team has a combined 20 years of experience helping pets. Most of our staff members were trained in an urgent care situation, and therefore accustomed to difficult cases. More importantly, they are passionate about preventing disease in your four-legged family members. You’ll be greeted by one of our amazing receptionists as you arrive. Rikki and Evelyn love getting to know each and every patient and treat them as one of the family. Our amazing technician team composed of Bianca, Kendall, Shannon and Brittni are here to provide experienced pet nursing care.
